Level 1 (of 7) : Healing
You’re attracted to or have gone through an interest in one or more therapies including Reiki, EFT, coaching, massage therapies, angel healing or reflexology. You’re now onto your personal healing journey, a key stage of development.
You’re a strongly ‘feeling’ person, your emotions are strong even if others never see them. The consciousness journey has to first evolve through the body senses. Intellectual awareness is a starting point but the body engages our full attention through the nervous system. To engage properly with the consciousness journey the body is involved, we cannot just intellectually experience it. Our deepest instinct happens through knowing thyself. We move beyond fear only when we know how fear moves through our individual system. At this stage of the journey there is a strong unconscious instinct to change something, a desire for something deeper.
At the healing stage of development there is a strong desire to:
- Tidy up the body by looking after it
- Resolve addictions
- Neutralise allergies / food sensitivity
- Tidy up relationships or understand the reason for certain experiences
The healing stage begins with tidying up the internal world. Overdoing something becomes a distraction in life. When we overdo things in any way, it’s our way of keeping emotions at bay. The healing journey is the journey of beginning to know what those feelings are. In order to feel, we have to be brave enough to begin the possibility of putting the distractions to one side. The healing journey starts with an often unconscious desire, a ‘had enough’ experience, to trigger the beginnings of personal growth and fulfilment.
That ends the overview of Level 1: Healing. Now what do you want to do? Do you want to move on or stay and go deeper into Level 1..?
STAY: Great below is a short extract from Heidi’s book in relation to your development at this stage.
MOVE ON: Next >> Step 2 (of 7) : Intuition – Click here >>
Side note: In the book the ‘Levels’ are referred to as ‘Steps’, they both correspond to the same stage of the development of your intuitive abilities.
Chapter 7 Step 1: Accept Your Difference
‘There’s something wrong with me – I’m overly sensitive to people. At work, sometimes I’m on the verge of tears when I’m expressing something important to me. It’s making me exhausted, and I don’t want to feel other people’s feelings any more. What can I do about it?’
The first step to utilizing your intuitive skills is to realize that there’s nothing wrong with you. It’s about accepting that you’re different, not broken. There’s nothing to fix, only things to discover. And there are others exactly like you.
However, during the early days of discovering your intuitive insight you may often feel alone in your immediate environment; you may feel misunderstood and sometimes devastated by the fact that you feel and see things that others haven’t the perception to notice. My first steps into the world of intuitive insight weren’t something I wanted. Like most Intuitive-Sensitives I didn’t wake up one morning and decide to have a unique insight into others’ lives or an uncanny connection to aspects of people’s futue behaviour or actions. It was something that happened to me – I didn’t ask for it.
