Have you lost your sparkle?
Did you drop it one day and wonder where it went?
OMG was I irritated! I was sooo bored and tired – mostly of listening to the monologue of the ‘ world’s most important person‘ (or so they thought they were).
Nothing would come out of my mouth though. I just listened, waited until they’d finished – then agreed with them! Pacified them! What was I doing…
Losing your sparkle, even low grade depression sneaks up on you. You get used to it to the extent you don’t even notice.
That’s what happened to me, I lost my sparkle, my zest for life.
It all came down to the feeling of powerlessness, the feeling you agree with things for an easy life – then you get cross with yourself for doing it.
Meaning disappeared – numbness filled the gap.

- You start overeating, or you forget to eat.
- Sleep becomes disrupted.
- Tiredness rules your energy levels.
According to the World Health Organization anxiety and depression costs the global economy $1 trillion a year.
12 percent of the total budget for the NHS is spent on mental health, the direct cost is £22.5 billion a year in the UK alone.
Losing your sparkle isn’t unique or taboo any more, it happens to us all.
Sensitives particularly try to hide the fact their sparkle has evaporated.
If you want to reclaim your sparkle and move from feeling bored, tired and ‘broken’ to joyful, vibrant and whole again, I found a very simple key to happiness.
